As of January 2006, The Stirring have based themselves in the U.K. Originally from Australia, the city of Brighton is now theirnew home.

Back in Australia, The Stirring received two of the biggest awards available for unsigned Aussie artists from the Musicoz organization. http://musicoz.org The Stirring were chosen for these awards from over 6000 other artists.

The band are now putting on regular show in Brighton to 300+
